ABOUT ME
I was appointed Finance Director at Rosse Systems in early 2022 after working with our sister company, Checkmate Fire Solutions, for over 20 years! Whilst working as the Company Secretary and Finance Manager for Checkmate, I completed my chartership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2013.
IN MY FREE TIME
I’m a keen runner and a busy mum to 3 girls. One of my biggest achievements is participating in the ‘Pretty ‘Muddy’ 2022 event in Leeds, raising funds for Cancer research.
ABOUT ME
I’ve been in the fire and security solutions industry for over 32 years working for a small number of local and national companies in all the disciplines such as installation, maintenance, commissioning and design to a wide number of varied systems/manufacturers. This has provided me with the necessary skills and experience for my current position at Rosse Systems.
IN MY FREE TIME
Once a keen squash player but now retired due to the knees no longer being as young as they used to be, perhaps there may also be some weight issues there too! I now enjoy spending my spare time walking and with my family.
ABOUT ME
Originating from Hong Kong, I have been in the life safety systems industry since 1997. Starting my career at Protec Fire Detection, I became a team leader before crossing the Lancashire border into the White Rose county and joining Rosse Systems in 2006.
IN MY FREE TIME
I enjoy spending as much quality time as possible with family and friends. I also watch just about any sport going and have two energetic dogs that keep me on my toes.

With over 21 years of management experience in the fire and security sector, I was delighted to join the Rosse Systems team as Sales Manager in September 2022.
IN MY FREE TIME
Hailing from London, I’m a keen Crystal Palace fan and season ticket holder and like to travel to as many games as I can….. home and away! I have two great passions in life, one is my football team and the other is my beautiful granddaughter who I spend as much time with as possible.
About Me
I’ve been working within the fire alarm industry for 30+ years! I initially started work as a field engineer and have since progressed with various companies supporting key service accounts, installation, maintenance, commissioning, and design to gain valuable skills and experience across all sectors relating to the fire alarm industry.
In My Free Time
I play competitive table tennis in local leagues and enjoy swimming on a regular basis. I have previously completed several 5KM swimming events for local charities, that are close to my heart, and plan to complete a 5KM charity event on a yearly basis.

I’ve worked in Accounts my entire working life however recently expanded to working in purchasing, to better understand the full process, but my preference remains in accounts.
In My Free Time
Personally, I have diverse interests including scuba diving and games tournaments which include – Darts, Dominos’, Whist & Snooker. My proficiency in darts has led to an invitation to play Super League Darts! To relax I do diamond painting, both with friends and individually. I love to read and enjoy watching films and going to the theatre.

I have been involved in the security industry since leaving the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy as an Avionics Engineer in May 1994. I have worked at all levels from engineering to sales and management, within national and local security companies. I like to keep up with the latest technology and innovations regarding intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
IN MY FREE TIME
I have been fortunate enough to travel the world, despite working in a hectic flight deck environment, and enjoy nothing more now than relaxing with my partner and our two miniature Yorkshire terriers.
ABOUT ME
Born and bred in Lancashire I grew up by the seaside near Blackpool. After university, I settled in Leeds and trained as an accountant in a large City Centre firm. I have spent most of the last twenty-five years working as an accountant in the print engineering industry. The company I worked for supplied and installed printing presses and also provided after-sales engineering and spare parts support so, although in a very different sector, shared much in common with Rosse Systems.
IN MY FREE TIME
I enjoy live music and attend gigs and festivals whenever possible. I’m happiest in a sunny summer festival field, beer in hand listening to great music. I also enjoy gardening, looking after our allotment, swimming and playing the ukulele.
ABOUT ME
I have been working in the customer service industry for around 15 years, coordinating with engineers to cover nationwide breakdowns and services, liaising with customers, dealing with enquiries and providing excellent customer service whenever possible.
IN MY FREE TIME
I enjoy taking long walks with my dog and taking my daughter to her dance competitions for Freestyle dancing.
ABOUT ME
I joined the company in May 1988 full time on YTS when the original directors were Peter Murphy & Tony Hargreaves (who founded the company). I have seen the company go through many changes during this time and have seen many faces come and go, but one constant remains the same… me. Still here after 25 years. I now work part-time due to my children.
IN MY FREE TIME
I am married with two young children (we’re late starters). I have a big boxer dog and keep sane by taking her for long walks and having a good rant at her whilst we’re out, and as she doesn’t answer me back it’s very therapeutic!
I love going to theme parks, as I find the rides to be highly amusing and exhilarating. I enjoy watching QI, Bones, Top Gear (did I not mention, I have quite a sardonic/strange sense of humour). I also like getting together with friends and family and chilling out with some good food & alcohol.
About Me
Despite my youthful looks, I have actually been in the fire & security industry since leaving school in 1991 believe it or not! I started at Rosse Systems in 2001 and am committed to working towards my gold watch! I recently moved from being a field engineer to an office role and am enjoying the challenges that come with my new position within the company.
In My Free Time
I am a member of Northcliffe Golf Club and play regularly off my mid handicap, I also enjoy mountain biking, squash and fishing when I get the chance.
